Easy Being Greens work focused on the distribution
and installation of energy-saving lights and water-saving
showerheads to over 500,000 households to cut
about 4.3 million tonnes of CO2 emissions between
2005-7. This program was wound up after a dramatic
price collapse in the NSW Greenhouse Gas Abatement
Scheme carbon market in the latter half of 2007,
with Easy Being Green since being acquired by
green energy specialist provider Jack Green. Ecos
is currently working with Jack Green to assist
in the integration of the Easy Being Green business
in their operations.
